HTON Nepal Becomes Member of the International Union of Tenants (IUT)
The Housing and Tenants Organization Nepal (HTON) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that unites communities across Nepal to advocate for better housing and tenants’ rights. With a vision of a Nepal where every citizen has access to high-quality, affordable housing, HTON works to create inclusive and supportive housing environments through empowerment, advocacy, and collaboration. Their values of transparency, equity, sustainability, and community engagement reflect a strong commitment to improving housing conditions and tenant protections.
Ms. Swati Thapa, Chairperson of HTON Nepal, emphasized the significance of this membership:
