EUSEW event on empowering & protecting energy consumers

IUT will be speaking European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) event on empowering & protecting energy consumers on 21st June at 14:30 CET.

With spiralling energy prices, many customers across Europe have experienced energy hardship and vulnerability. EU Member States introduced a range of different measures (e.g. energy efficiency support for renovations; affordability support such as vouchers, coupons, subsidies, deferral payments of energy bills, price caps and tax cuts) to support consumers and businesses during the energy crisis. Some measures were targeted, others were not. EU policy makers are now also considering longer-term electricity market design reforms to support EU energy goals.
