REVIEW OF THE RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES ACT/ Consultation Paper Launched
In December 2019 Consumer Protection officially launched a review of the Residential Tenancies Act. Entitled ‘Your house, My Home’ the consultation paper seeks to elicit feedback on a broad range of issues and topics covered by the Act. Submissions are now open and will stay open until May 1st. We encourage all renters, organisations and service providers working in this area to make a submission. Any tenants wanting to know more about how to make a submission should come along to our Make Renting Fair campaign workshop (see below).
