Half of British households are only one paycheck away from loosing their homes

The figures from the UK housing and homelessness charity Shelter are deeply worrying: half of British households are only one paycheck away from loosing their homes since they do not have the savings to cover even one month’s rent.

But it is not just unemployment that threatens tenants: renters are being removed from their homes by landlords for a number of reasons outside of their control.
