IUT responds to UN consultation on adequate housing

 

The Special Rapporteur on the right to adequate housing, Leilani Farha, invited States, UN agencies, NHRI and civil society representatives to respond to a consultation  on the

“Guidelines for the implementation of the right to adequate housing”

which will be submitted as her final report to the forthcoming session of the Human Rights Council in March 2020.

IUT has submitted a response as attached and emphasised the need for states to take action to achieve the human rights goal of adequate housing for all.
