Member focus: Norway

As the IUT we represent global tenants’ organisations. In a new series we will be highlighting the work of some of our members.

We begin with Norway and Leieboerforeningen (LBF), which is a democratic, non-commercial and politically independent tenants’ organisation. LBF was founded in 1933 and has 5,000 members across the country. They offer rent legal assistance to members and have their own lawyers and legal consultants. In terms of housing policy, LBF actively works with all stakeholders towards shaping a more well-functioning and modern rental sector.
